Plexus MA530 (53000 Gray) is a non-sag MMA adhesive designed for dependable structural bonding of metals, thermoplastics, and composite materials. Featuring a UV-stable gray formulation, this adhesive delivers consistent performance in applications where durability, chemical resistance, and long working time are critical.

With a 30-minute working time and approximately 45 minutes for handling strength, Plexus MA530 enables precise alignment and controlled assembly on complex or large-scale projects. Its gel consistency prevents sagging or run-off, making it well-suited for vertical surfaces and uneven joints.

Mixed at a 1:1 ratio, Plexus MA530 offers predictable cure behavior and reliable joint development. After application, it reaches approximately 75% of its strength in 45 minutes, supporting an efficient workflow and consistent production timelines.

The product is commonly used in fabrication, repair, and manufacturing environments where impact-resistant bonding and controlled gap filling are required. Its extended working time supports accurate placement of bonded components before curing begins.

Plexus MA530 provides excellent resistance to acids and bases (pH 3–10) as well as salt solutions. It is susceptible to polar solvents, strong acids and bases outside the stated range, and hydrocarbons, including gasoline and diesel fuels. Understanding these performance characteristics helps ensure proper material selection for demanding industrial environments.

A white version (53500) is available in full-pallet quantities. Approved substitute materials include:
