We work hard to make sure your orders ship-out fast.  You need your materials, and we want your project to keep going.

Expedited and Air shipping is always available

With fair and honest express shipping rates.

However, some products in our catalog are regulated dangerous goods materials and may have additional regulatory or carrier fees.  

We work hard to uncover these types of fees for our customers, and try out best to anticipate and estimate these regulatory and carrier fees, but sometimes they surprise us.  We'll reach out and share updated information with our customers as soon as these dangerous goods fees apply.

International Shipping

We regularly ship to Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and many other parts of the planet.  We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some Dangerous Goods products, which cannot be shipped to some international destinations, but we take care of this info for you.  


If the Destination Address is outside the USA, PLEASE READ THESE NOTES:

  • Import duties/taxes/fees ARE NOT COLLECTED.
  • You will be contacted by either the shipper (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) or your country's customs team.
  • All International sales are FINAL ONCE THE ORDER HAS SHIPPED. No returns or Exchanges will be processed.  If this is an issue, simply call or email us BEFORE IT SHIPS, and we will gladly cancel the order.
  • If the shipment is refused by your destination location, the shipment will be destroyed by the courier, not returned, and not refunded.

Though we very much want to enable this conveninece for our international customers, there is simply too much variability and even possibly corruption in the customs function across all the countries that we serve.  We have experienced very unfriendly customs experiences and unpredability when we collect customs fees in advance.  So we have regretfully had to stop providing this service, and simply allow customers to engage with their import teams directly.

Specific Couriers & Cost Estimates

Unless specified otherwise, shipments weighing less than one pound will likely ship via USPS First Class Ground Mail; shipments weighing one ore more pounds will likely go via FedEx Ground.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, time is of the essence because we do make every effort to ship orders out the same day they were received. (Obviously shipping continues to be affected by continuing supply chain disruptions resulting in higher than normal stock outages) But if you do want to cancel your order, please call us as soon as possible so we can try and stop the shipment of your order.

Returns & Exchanges

You may return for a full refund or exchange any unopened items, within 30 days of you receiving your product. We also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). If you are processing a return that is not a result of our error, you may return it to the same address that it shipped from at your expense. To expedite your refund, please include the original, or a copy of your packing slip in the package, and briefly state why you are returning it.

You should expect to receive your exchange within 1 week of notifying us, and your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Restock and Dangerous Goods Return Charges

Many of our products fall under Dangerous Goods (DG) or Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) regulations, and others are kits that get assembled on-demand, on an order by order basis. Because of these types of products, there exists an array of re-processing fees that may also apply for returns that are not a result of errors by our operations teams or courier partners. Returning these products will incur regulatory re-processing fees, courier re-handling fees, or restocking fees as applicable. Other products may also require significant kit-disassembly, unpacking, or restocking tasks. We will communicate these return-related fees as applicable on a case-by-case basis. We pass these fees along with no markup, they are simply what are incurred by us to process these returns, and will never exceed 25% of the applicable product price. If applicable, these charges will be specified with customers before the return process begins, so that customers are aware that they may apply. If we do not communicate about these fees, then they simply do not apply in your specific case, and you can rest assured that it'll be processed without those fees.
