Premera T2 - Impervious Protective Clear Coat Sealant, aka Liquid Glass, Silicon Dioxide (SiO2)
T2 MCM (Metal & Concrete) is a Nano-Ceramic Quartz-based clear coat that protects metal, concrete, brick and other masonry surfaces by creating a long-lasting impervious barrier against all kinds of environmental and chemical risks.
Metal and concrete assets have a hard time withstanding just structural loads, much less environmental attacks. Tiny things like water, fuels, and salt fog literally eat them up.
Stop metal corrosion and concrete disintegration without adding structural load. Protect from not just one, but a wide, comprehensive list of environmental factors. Premera T2 Coats blow away the competition with unmatched chemical bonding and unbelievable nanoscale coverage over any surface profile. Extremely long lasting & low maintenance.
Features
-
- Single component, spray down, no backroll, self leveling clear top coat
- Does not require substrate profile, eliminating grinding or sanding prior to application
- Excellent abrasion and scratch resistance
- Excellent impact resistance
- Excellent chemical resistance
- UV resistant
- Comes in gloss, satin and matte finish
- Easy clean coating greatly reduces maintenance costs
The Premera T2 MCM provides an ultra-durable, wear resistant clear coating. It avoids common protection failures like peeling or flaking. T2 for Metal & Concrete can be applied directly over the related concrete sealing primer HLT for a complete and permanent concrete protection system.
Surface Coverage:
- 400 – 600 square feet per gallon
- Recommended spread rate of 3 to 4 mils Wet, which when dry becomes 1 to 1.5 mils of coat thickness, so very thin.
Amazing Fact about Premera T2 MCM combined with HLT Primer or Fusion Primer:
- When T2 MCM is combined with FP1 Fusion Primer, No Grinding, No Sanding, No surface profiling is needed to achieve strong chemical bonds to Concrete, Tile and Stone surfaces. Just a light cleaning, and removal of oils or greases if they exist on the surface.
-
When T2 MCM is combined with HLT Moisture & Vapor Barrier Primer, No you get a pressure-resistant permanent waterproof barrier. No Sanding and No surface profiling is needed to achieve strong chemical bonds to Concrete, Tile and Stone surfaces. Just remove impurities, oils, greases, or prior coatings, to the raw concrete, then spray on T2 and optionally HLT or FP1.

Important Notes on Satin & Matte finishes:
- For Satin & Matte finish products, you will receive inside the box/packaging a separate small baggie of white matting agent.
- This matting agent has been pre-measured for your container size.
- You will need to pour the matting agent powder into the Invisible Armor container and stirr it in.
- This will then emable the Satin or Matte finish that you are needing.
- If you do not pour and stir in the matting agent, you will simply have the gloss finish.
- Also, you will need to re-stir the sealant every 15 to 30 minutes as you are using it (and before use if it has been in storage for a while). The Matting agent does not dissolve, it stays suspended in solution and will eventually fall out (and to the bottom of the container) and need re-stirring.

How to apply:
Pressure sprayers: Apply using standard high-volume low-pressure sprayer (HVLP… popular with paint spraying and airbrushing) or hand-pump pressure sprayers with a 1.0-1.3 spray tip and air pressure set at 25 to 30 psi. Spray test pattern on cardboard or paper to ensure suitable 8“to 10” elongated spray pattern is achieved (approximately 1 ½ inch wide in the middle and fluid enough to cover but not puddle). Apply two thin coats, wet-on-tack, 2-3 WFT each, top to bottom, then right to left, keeping a wet edge. Second coat must be applied within 10-15 minutes while first coat is still tacky for optimum results.
Standard Paint Rollers: Use a high density ultra-smooth foam roller or ¼ inch nap roller to apply the coating in an up and down then left to right pattern to ensure complete coverage of the surface. Avoid overworking coating. Apply coating thinly, 2.0 to 3.0 wet film thicknesses (WFT) and continue forward. Avoid down pressure on the roller for best results in finish appearance.
Brush Application: Use high-quality China bristle to apply T2AM in a cross-pattern; up and down, then left and right as quickly as possible. Avoid overworking coating, as it dries quickly. Avoid down pressure on the brush for best results in finish appearance. Apply light strokes using the tip brush to smooth out coating if necessary. Desired wet film thickness (WFT) is approximately 2.0 to 2.5 mils.
Dip Application: Apply a blanket of nitrogen gas over Premera T2 SS in dip tank to prevent flashing of solvents and evaporation of product. Dip and agitate items (back and forth, up and down); remove to dry rack.
Product Name

Comparison Note
Premera T2 significantly differentiates itself from many traditional coatings by often eliminating the need for grinding or sanding substrates, especially when paired with specific primers, which drastically reduces prep time and labor. It offers superior chemical bonding and nanoscale coverage, resulting in exceptionally long-lasting and low-maintenance protection. Unlike some older technologies, its anti-bacterial variants provide sustained bacterial protection without relying on short-lived toxic additives. Furthermore, it delivers a harder, more durable, and more chemically resistant finish compared to many standard epoxy topcoats.
