Premera T3 Graffiti Defense protects surfaces against permanent marring and damage from graffiti. This long lasting, durable, environmentally friendly Silicon Dioxide (SIO2) nanocoating can be applied to a variety of substrates.

Nukote Premera Graffiti Defense creates a thin, invisible, and easy to clean barrier that prevents the graffiti from ever reaching and damaging the original surface. Graffiti Defense can be used to protect road signs, trains, walls, smooth concrete and various other smooth substrates. Graffiti Defense is ideal over painted surfaces, such as murals or other artwork, to protect from unwanted alteration. Graffiti Defense is used to protect schools, municipal buildings and signage, and business facilities, reduces time and labor costs spend removing graffiti, and eliminates the need for costly replacements of graffiti-affected surfaces.

How to apply:

Stir Nukote Premera Graffiti Defense container well to re-suspend nanoparticles, as there will be settlement of nanoparticles in the bottom of the container; typically ¼”. Re-stir contents at least every 10 to 15 minutes during the application process to resuspend nanoparticles and ensure proper performance of the coating.

Spray Application:

Use a high volume, low pressure (HVLP) spray gun with a 1.0 size tip and the pressure set at approximately 25 to 30 psi. Adjust the spray gun to first spray a test pattern on cardboard to achieve a 8” elongated pattern approximately 1 ½” wide in the middle. Avoid any puddling. Spray surface in a cross-pattern left to right, then up and down at a medium pace approximately 8” to 10” from surface to prevent voids in coverage. Graffiti Defense is applied very thinly. Desired wet film thickness (WFT) is approximately 0.5 to 1.0 mils. Blowing wind will affect the quality of the finish, may disrupt the spray pattern from the HVLP sprayer and can contribute to pollution of the finish. Recommended: erect a windscreen to protect the area prior to beginning the coating application

Roller Application:

Never roll Graffiti Defense onto painted signs or surfaces as this may smear paint. Pour Graffiti Defense into roller pan and completely saturate a high density ultra smooth white foam roller. For rough surfaces, a 3/8” nap roller is recommended. Apply Graffiti Defense in a cross-pattern; left to right, up and down as quickly as possible ensuring there is always plenty of material on the roller and no spots are missed. Desired wet film thickness (WFT) is approximately 0.5 to 1.0 mils. Avoid overworking coating, as coating dries quickly. Do not apply more than one coat.

Brush Application:

Never brush Graffiti Defense onto painted signs or surfaces as this may smear paint. Use a high quality Chinese bristle brush to apply Graffiti Defense in a cross-pattern left to right, up and down as quickly as possible ensuring there is always plenty of material on the brush so no spots are missed. Desired wet film thickness (WFT) is approximately 0.5 to 1.0 mils. Avoid overworking coating, as coating dries quickly. Do not apply more than one coat
