Description
UltraLok 420-1 is a two-part, flexibilized structural methacrylate adhesive designed for high-strength bonding of metals, composites, and engineered plastics. It is formulated for fast-paced manufacturing and assembly environments where rapid strength development, durability, and long-term performance are required.
UltraLok 420-1 offers a short working time and reaches handling strength quickly at room temperature. The adhesive provides strong yet flexible bonds that accommodate movement caused by vibration and differences in coefficient of thermal expansion between bonded substrates. The formulation contains no glass beads, allowing for thin bond lines and maximum surface contact.
UltraLok 420-1 requires little to no surface preparation and bonds aggressively to steel, stainless steel, aluminum, fiberglass, and many plastics.
