The SynthoGlass Marine Emergency Hull Repair Kit is the "First Line of Defense" for commercial, naval, and recreational vessels facing catastrophic leaks. Trusted by the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy, this comprehensive damage control station contains everything needed to stop leaks in hulls, tanks, and pressurized pipes in minutes. And unlike welding or traditional mechanical patches, these kits require no hot work, no special tools, and can be applied on wet, dirty, or submerged surfaces to keep the vessel operational.
Each kit features a strategic assortment products:
- SynthoPlugs (various sized plugs for irregular jagged holes)
- SynthoGlass UP packs (for live, pressurized pipe leaks up to 60 psi),
- SynthoGlass NP packs (for drain and non-pressure lines)
- ESN-202 sticks (steel-reinforced moldable/conformable epoxy sticks).
Water and saltwater-activated, these fiberglass composite systems are used all over the world by military and commercial vessels alike (Coast Guard, Navy, large & medium sized ships) for fast, strong, temporary-to-semi-permanent repairs on pipes and hulls by wrapping them, restoring pressure, and creating durable, stronger-than-original patches for critical downtime reduction and damage control. Key Features:
- Application: It can be used for water, fuel, or bilge pump leaks, as well as fuel or water tank leaks and even hull breaches/damage. It works with fiberglass, steel, or aluminum boats in fresh, brackish, or saltwater and can be applied above or below the water line.
