Sulzer Mixpac MFQ 08-24T Static Mixing Nozzle for F-System 1:1 & 2:1 ratio cartridges, both 200ml and 400ml designs
The Sulzer Mixpac MFQ Series static mixers are the Quadro mixer style designed to be used with the F Series cartridges, both 1:1 and 2:1 ratios. The MFQ quad mixer gives optimal mixing in a smaller footprint than traditional round/helix mixers, allowing users to work more closely with the materials they are bonding, and wasting less material inside the nozzles.
The real value of the Sulzer MFQ nozzle is the way it connects to the Sulzer F System cartridges through two separate outlets guaranteeing there is no product pollution prior to dispensing. This reduces clogging and extends the adhesive's shelf/storage life.
For Use with These Adhesives:
- Epoxy
- Acrylics/Acrylates/MMA's
- Silicones
- Urethanes
- Other High Viscosity Adhesives

Product Name
Sulzer MixPac MFQ 08-24T F-System Square Quadro Mixing Nozzle
Brief Description
The Sulzer MixPac MFQ 08-24T is a disposable static mixing nozzle featuring advanced Quadro (square) mixing technology. It is specifically designed for efficient and thorough mixing of two-part (two-component) adhesives, sealants, and resins. This nozzle is compatible with larger F-System cartridges, typically ranging from 200ml to 490ml, and supports common mix ratios of 1:1 and 2:1. It ensures a homogeneous mixture for consistent application results.
Popular Applications & Uses
- Bonding and sealing various materials- Potting and encapsulating electronic components- Structural bonding applications- Concrete repair- Aircraft assembly and repair- Wind turbine assembly and repair- Home building and general construction- Dispensing materials such as epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones, acrylics, and methacrylates
Industries that Commonly Use It
- Aerospace/Defense- Automotive Service/Repair- Construction/ Building Services- Concrete- Electrical Services or Products (for electronics)- Energy (wind and solar energy devices)- Fabrication- General Manufacturing- Metal Fabrication- Mold Making/ Casting- Plastic Fabrication- Sign & Display- Transportation/ Specialty Vehicle
Special and Unique Features
- **Quadro Mixing Technology:** Utilizes a unique square mixing element geometry for optimal and efficient mixing, resulting in a compact design and reduced material waste.- **F-System Compatibility:** Designed for seamless integration with Sulzer MixPac F-System cartridges (200ml, 225ml, 250ml, 380ml, 400ml, 490ml).- **Dual-Orifice/Separate Inlets:** Prevents cross-contamination and premature curing of the two components before mixing.- **Stepped Outlet Tip:** Allows for precise application and controlled bead size, minimizing waste.- **Reduced Pressure Loss:** The Quadro system's design helps reduce pressure loss during dispensing, easing application.- **Disposable:** Designed for single-use, eliminating the need for cleaning and reducing labor.
Key Properties
- Mixer Type: Quadro, Square Mixer, Turbo Mixer- Connection Type: F-System (Interlock with separate inlets)- Compatible Cartridge Sizes: 200ml, 225ml, 250ml, 380ml, 400ml, 490ml- Mix Ratios: 1:1 and 2:1- Number of Elements: 24- Inner Diameter: 8.7 mm (0.343 in)- Length: 155 mm (6.102 in)- Waste Volume: 8.69 ml- Outlet Tip: Stepped Tip- Material: Polypropylene (PP) for housing and elements- Element Color: Green- Disposable: Yes
Surface Compatibility
The Sulzer MixPac MFQ 08-24T nozzle itself does not have surface compatibility in the traditional sense, as it is a dispensing tool. However, it facilitates the application of two-part adhesives, sealants, and resins that are compatible with a broad range of substrates. These materials are commonly used for bonding to surfaces such as metals, various plastics, concrete, wood, composites, and other engineered materials, depending on the specific chemical properties of the dispensed adhesive.
Known backups / known substitutes
- **Other Static Mixing Nozzles:** Alternative static mixers from Sulzer (e.g., helical/round element MFH series) or other manufacturers, though they may differ in mixing efficiency, design, and compatibility.- **Manual Mixing:** Hand-mixing of two-part materials, which is generally less consistent, prone to errors in ratio, introduces air bubbles, and results in more material waste.- **Dynamic Mixers:** Mechanically powered mixers that offer thorough mixing but are typically more complex, expensive, and require frequent cleaning and maintenance.
Comparison Note
The Sulzer MixPac MFQ 08-24T Quadro nozzle stands out from traditional helical (round) static mixers due to its square mixing element geometry. This design allows for a more compact nozzle length while achieving superior mixing performance with minimal pressure drop, leading to less material waste and reduced user fatigue. Compared to manual mixing, it ensures consistent, homogeneous results and eliminates measurement errors. Unlike dynamic mixers, it is a cost-effective, disposable solution that requires no power or cleaning, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
