H2O Non-Slip Pool & Spa Treads – 2 Pack

Improve traction on slippery pool and spa surfaces with H2O Non-Slip Treads. These durable fiberglass strips feature a fine-grit textured surface that provides a more secure footing on submerged steps, benches, ledges, and entry areas.

Each pack includes two non-slip treads measuring approximately 23.875 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 0.065 inches thick. The strips can be trimmed to fit smaller steps or uniquely shaped installation areas.

When installed with the appropriate H2O Glue adhesive, the treads can be bonded directly underwater, allowing you to improve pool safety without draining the pool or spa.

Tread Dimensions

Each tread measures:

• Length: 23.875 inches

The treads can be cut with a fine-tooth hacksaw. Lightly sand the cut edge before installation for a smoother finish.

Compatible Pool Surfaces

When installed with H2O AquaBonder Underwater Adhesive, these treads are suitable for:

• Fiberglass and gel-coat surfaces

• Vinyl pool liners

• Painted pool surfaces

• Epoxy-painted surfaces

H2O AquaBonder is not recommended for unpainted concrete, gunite, tile, pool plaster, pebble finishes, natural stone, or polyethylene. Gunite, concrete, and stone installations require a compatible H2O Glue Underwater Epoxy.

Adhesive Required

Adhesive is required for installation and is sold separately unless purchasing a complete installation kit.

For compatible vinyl, fiberglass, gel-coat, and painted surfaces, use H2O AquaBonder Underwater Adhesive. Apply a bead around the perimeter of the tread approximately 1/4 inch from the edge, followed by an additional bead down the center.

Basic Installation Instructions

1. Cut the tread to the desired length with a fine-tooth hacksaw.

2. Lightly sand any cut edges.

3. Scrub and clean the installation surface to remove algae, dirt, and residue.

4. Apply the appropriate H2O Glue adhesive to the back of the tread.

5. Press the tread firmly into position.

6. Place weights over the tread while the adhesive begins to set and follows the contour of the pool step.

7. Wipe away excess adhesive before it cures.
   
   
   

Always follow the instructions supplied with the selected adhesive. Once the adhesive has fully cured, it may be difficult or impossible to remove.
