Popular for small cartridges and syringes, especially the 4:1, 10:1 50ml cartridges, as well as the K-System small syringe pistons, all of which are non-vented. They are too small to leverage vented pison technologies, so these use a traditional insertion method that leverages an air venting strip or filament.
This filament is the tool necessary to properly insert the K-System pistons and vent the trapped-in air out of the syringes.
