Permabond MS359A is a low viscosity, self-levelling single-part MS Polymer. A moisture cure sealant’ type product which cures slowly from the outside in to form tough, yet flexible, bonded joints.
Grey in colour, MS359A can be used to bond most materials including wood, metal, glass, plasterboard wood, metal, glass, plasterboard and a wide range of plastics.
Permabond MS Polymers are single component, hybrid technology adhesives that moisture cure at ambient temperature. The high elongation and flexible nature of these strong bonds meet the demands of stress from impact, peel, and expansion that can occur when bonding dissimilar materials. They have excellent environmental resistance and remain very flexible.
As this formula is moisture cure, the cure time will depend on humidity and moisture in the air and on the substrate surface.

Comparison Note
Permabond MS359A, as an MS Polymer, offers a unique blend of properties that often surpass traditional polyurethane and silicone products. Unlike many polyurethanes, it is solvent-free and isocyanate-free, eliminating bubbling during cure and reducing VOC emissions. Compared to silicones, it is paintable, non-staining, and does not contain silicone oil that can lead to streaking and dirt pickup. It provides excellent flexibility and elasticity, superior to many structural adhesives like epoxies and methyl methacrylates, making it ideal for applications with movement and vibration. Its primer-free adhesion to a wide range of substrates and excellent weather resistance make it a versatile and durable choice for both interior and exterior applications. The self-leveling, thin viscosity, and medium set time of MS359A make it particularly suitable for applications requiring a flowable, even layer that cures at room temperature.
