PERMABOND 735 is a high-performance, toughened cyanoacrylate (instant adhesive) that offers significantly improved impact and peel strength compared to conventional superglues. This flexible, black adhesive cures rapidly at room temperature without the need for mixing or heat, making it an incredibly user-friendly solution for various industrial and professional bonding applications.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Toughened and Flexible: Provides enhanced resistance to shock, vibration, and flexing.

  • Excellent Impact and Peel Strength: Outperforms standard cyanoacrylates in demanding applications.

  • Extended Alignment Time: A slightly longer fixture time (up to 50 seconds on steel/aluminum) allows for more accurate component alignment before the final set.

  • Black Color: Ideal for bonding components with dark surfaces, providing a discreet bond line.

  • Easy to Use: No mixing required; 100% reactive with no solvents.

  • Versatile Adhesion: Bonds a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, plastics (like ABS, PVC, PC), and elastomers (like Buna N Rubber).

  • Consistent Performance: The adhesive's viscosity remains stable over its shelf life, ensuring reliable results.

Product Performance Overview

PERMABOND 735 is an ethyl cyanoacrylate with a medium viscosity (100-200 mPa.s) and a maximum gap fill of 0.15. It achieves full strength in 24 hours.

Directions for Optimal Use

  1. Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and grease-free. Degrease with a suitable solvent (e.g., acetone). Abrade metals like aluminum for best results.

  2. Application: Apply the adhesive sparingly to one surface.

  3. Assembly: Bring components together quickly and correctly aligned.

  4. Cure: Apply pressure to ensure a thin, uniform bond line. Do not disturb or re-align until handling strength is achieved.
