The Components:
These Empty Reels / Spools are comprised of 3 parts: 2 flanges, and 1 core. The Flanges are the vertical sides, and the core is the center round part. These Reels have a self-locking feature, where you insert the flange into the core, twist and it locks in place.
Two Flanges:
Each flange is 1 1/2 inch thick, durable and impact resistant. Featres a patented locking thread design to firmly secure each flange to the core. The locking web screws into place and locks over the tab on the core. This flange is virtually indestructible and impact resistant.
One Core:
The tab on the end of the core locks in between the web on the flange to securely hold the reel together. Available in 3" or 6" core diameters. The length of the core is variable from 6" through 28".
