Maven Epoxy EA 6120 is a 2-part (steel filled for extra strength) chemical and solvent resistant epoxy adhesive with a slow set time of 120 minutes. When mixed in equal volumes of resin and hardener, it reacts to give a rigid and tough bond. This product is dark grey and machinable to give a metallic finish. EA 6120 is recommended to bond aluminum, concrete and other metals. It has a set time (working life) of 120 minutes, and handling strength can be achieved in about 240 minutes with a full cure in 24 hours.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 400ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 400ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, we have some 50ml kits that include hand tools or caulking dispenser adapters, as pictured, that you can use for fast small jobs. But the 400ml cartridges really need to use a 400ml Dispenser, they're just too big to effectively use without the dispenser.

Comparison Note
Maven Epoxy EA 6120 stands out with its specific 120-minute slow set time, offering a longer working window compared to many "fast-set" or "30-minute" epoxies, which is crucial for intricate or large-scale applications requiring careful alignment and positioning. Its steel-filled composition provides superior strength and machinability, making it ideal for robust metal repairs and rebuilding, distinguishing it from general-purpose or clear epoxies that may lack the same level of structural integrity and metallic finish. The metallic gray color is also a benefit for blending with metal surfaces.
