maven Epoxy EA530 is a 2-part Medium Viscosity epoxy adhesive with a medium set time of 30 minutes. When mixed in equal volumes of resin and hardener, it reacts to give a rigid and tough bond. This product is clear with a mild yellow tint, non shrinking and gives excellent adhesion. EA 530 is recommended to bond various materials like metals, glass, wood, FRP, concrete, stone and ceramics. It has a set time (working life) of 30 minutes, and handling strength can be achieved in about 2 hours. Give excellent bond strength on various substrates.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 400ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 400ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, we have some 50ml kits that include hand tools or caulking dispenser adapters, as pictured, that you can use for small jobs. But the 400ml cartridges really need to use a 400ml Dispenser, they're just too big to effectively use without the dispenser.

Wipe off and degrease the surface to be bonded. Use safety glasses and gloves to avoid skin contact. Dispense a desirable amount of adhesive using a dispensing dispenser. The nozzle sizes can be selected according to the desired bond thickness. Join the substrates with in 60 minutes and allow it to cure at room temperature. Do not disturb the parts during the curing process. Excess adhesive can be wiped off. (For optimum strengths, surface preparation for the metals like sandblast, etching will be needed).
Safety and handling
Wear safety glasses and gloves. Contains mercaptan and amine accelerators. Do not breathe vapors. Keep out of the reach of children. Once used keep the containers closed.
Storage and shelf life
Store the product between 60-80℉. Shelf life is 15 months if stored as recommended.

Known backups / known substitutes
- Maven EA 530CL (Crystal Clear, 2:1 ratio, 30-40 min set).- Maven EA 560CL (Crystal Clear, 2:1 ratio, 60-80 min set).- Maven 10-Minute Black Epoxy EA510-B (Chemical Resistant, Medium Viscosity, 10-min set).- Permabond ET515 (1:1 ratio, 10-20 min set).- Araldite 2012 (Fast setting, all-purpose epoxy).- Alumilite Enviroset 30 Minute Epoxy Glue (1:1 mix ratio, 25-30 min working time).- Bob Smith Industries Slow-Cure™ 30 min. epoxy (1:1 ratio, high strength, waterproof).- Alpha SAS 530 (Quick setting, 1:1 ratio, for metals, glass, GRP, ceramics, rubber, plastics).
Comparison Note
- Maven Epoxy EA 530 offers a balanced 30-minute working time, which is longer than fast-set epoxies (e.g., 5-15 min) but shorter than slow-set options (e.g., 60+ min), providing a good window for precise application and adjustments without excessive waiting. Its 1:1 mixing ratio simplifies preparation compared to products with less common ratios (e.g., 2:1 or 4:1). While it is clear with a mild yellow tint, other products like Maven EA 530CL offer a crystal-clear finish if absolute transparency is critical. It is a general-purpose adhesive, distinguishing it from highly specialized epoxies designed for extreme temperatures or specific chemical resistances, though it does offer good resistance to water and solvents.
