Maven Epoxy EA501MV is a 2-part Medium-Viscosity (moderate-flow, slow flowing) Epoxy Adhesive with a very fast set time of 30 to 60 seconds (1 minute). When mixed in equal volumes of resin and hardener, it reacts to give a very-fast-setting rigid and tough bond.
It is excellent for applications needing a super-fast setting, but when a moderatly-flowable epoxy is best.
This product is translucent clear, non shrinking and gives instant adhesion. EA 501MV is recommended to bond various materials like metals, glass, wood, FRP, concrete, stone and ceramics. It has a set time (working life) of 1 minute, and handling strength can be achieved in less than 5 minutes. Give excellent bond strength on various substrates.
It is optimized for, and frequently used in, EOD and First-Responder applications.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 400ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 400ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, we have some 50ml kits that include hand tools or caulking dispenser adapters, as pictured, that you can use for fast small jobs. But the 400ml cartridges really need to use a 400ml Dispenser, they're just too big to effectively use without the dispenser.

Directions of applications
Wipe off and degrease the surface to be bonded. Use the gloves to avoid skin contact. Dispense a desirable amount of adhesive using a dispensing dispenser. The nozzle sizes can be selected according to the desired bond thickness. Join the substrates with in 60 minutes and allow it to cure at room temperature. Do not disturb the parts during the curing process. Excess adhesive can be wiped off. (For optimum strengths, surface preparation for the metals like sandblast, etching will be needed).
Safety and handling
Wear safety glasses and gloves. Contains mercaptan and amine accelerators. Do not breathe vapors. Keep out of the reach of children. Once used keep the containers closed.
Storage and shelf life
Store the product between 60-80℉. Shelf life is 15 months if stored as recommended.

Comparison Note
Maven Epoxy EA 501MV stands out due to its exceptionally fast 1-minute set time, which is ideal for small components or quick repairs where minimal working time is desired to prevent shifting. While its 1:1 mixing ratio offers convenience and ease of use, it's important to note that 1:1 ratio epoxies may sometimes involve compromises in ultimate strength compared to structural epoxies with uneven ratios (e.g., 2:1, 5:1) that are typically used for high-load, strength-critical applications like boat building. Its medium viscosity provides a good balance, allowing for moderate flow and controlled application, making it versatile for both bonding and coating without being too runny or too thick.
