LOCTITE® Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive is a two-part, electrically conductive repair system that reattaches a separated defogger tab to the heating grid on a vehicle's rear window. It restores both the physical bond and the electrical continuity the defroster circuit needs, without replacing the glass.

How to Use
- Work at a minimum ambient temperature of 50°F.
- Clean the grid and tab bonding surfaces using only the cleaner/activator towelette provided; let dry about 2 minutes.
- Knead the adhesive pouch for 1–2 minutes until the color is uniform.
- Apply one drop of mixed adhesive to the center of the tab and press firmly in place for 1 minute.
- Let the repair cure 24 hours before operating the defogger. Run a 15-minute warm-up cycle before the first drive after that.

Storage
- Store unopened in a cool, dry location, 46°F to 82°F; the lower half of that range is best for shelf life.
Safety & Transportation
- Two separate SDS documents apply — one per kit component. Keep both on file; both carry the GHS signal word "Danger."
- Part 1 (adhesive, code 190510H): Skin corrosion/irritation 1B, serious eye damage 1, skin sensitizer 1, STOT-RE 2. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage; may cause an allergic skin reaction; may cause organ damage through prolonged or repeated exposure. Not DOT-regulated for ground transport.
- Part 2 (activator, code PTX394319AA, isopropanol-based): Flammable liquid 2, eye irritation 2A, and the source SDS also lists germ cell mutagenicity 1B / carcinogenicity 1A / STOT-SE 3 — this combination is unusual for an isopropyl-alcohol-based activator and should be re-checked against the current SDS PDF before it's used in any compliance paperwork. DOT ground: UN1219, Isopropanol, Class 3, Packing Group II, Limited Quantity.
