Loctite LB 8423 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease is a non-conductive silicone lubricant that helps protect electrical connections and reduce voltage leakage. It resists corrosion and helps prevent spark plug boots from sticking to plugs. Each option contains one tube.
Popular Uses & Industries
For spark plug boots, distributor cap nipples, ignition coil connectors, battery terminals and trailer electrical connectors. Useful in automotive tune-ups, marine electrical maintenance, fleet service and industrial electrical maintenance. Lubricates suitable rubber, plastic and ceramic surfaces.

Application & Limitations
Switch off the ignition system and clean the surfaces. For spark plugs, spread a thin coating inside the boot and over the plug's ceramic portion, then refit securely. Follow equipment instructions for connector and terminal assembly. This is an insulating grease, not a conductive contact repair product. Do not use in oxygen-rich systems or as a sealant for chlorine or strong oxidizers.
Storage & Safety
