Brief Description
Loctite Epoxy Plastic Bonder 1360788 is a two-part, equal-volume epoxy in a 25 mL dual syringe. It forms a tough, rigid bond for repairing and bonding compatible rigid plastics, fiberglass, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Popular Applications & Uses
• Repair cracked or broken ABS, PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, fiberglass-reinforced plastic, Mylar, Delrin, and phenolic components.
• Bond compatible rigid plastic parts to each other or to aluminum and stainless steel after confirming adhesion on a test area.
• Fill gaps, chips, holes, and surface damage in compatible rigid plastic housings, covers, panels, trim, fixtures, and fabricated parts.
• Laminate compatible rigid substrates and rebuild small missing sections where a sandable, drillable cured repair is useful.
• Complete household, workshop, automotive service, fabrication, display, prop, furniture, and general maintenance repairs.
Application Notes
Dispense equal volumes, mix thoroughly, and apply within the 4–10 minute gel window. Usable strength develops in about 1 hour; allow 24 hours for full cure.
Apply between 39°F and 95°F. The cured adhesive is water resistant and can be sanded or drilled.
Limitations
Not recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, flexible materials, or non-stick coatings. Do not use for continuous water immersion, wet-area installations, aquariums, or potable-water systems.
