TILE ACE MAX is a high-performance, professional-grade tile adhesive based on advanced KANEKA MS POLYMER® technology. Specifically engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications, this white, low-modulus adhesive provides superior bonding strength and flexibility, meeting ISO 14448:2016 specifications for exterior tile applications. It is proudly made in the USA.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Advanced Polymer Technology: Formulated with KANEKA MS POLYMER® for reliable, long-lasting performance.
-
Extended Working Time: Offers a generous 60-minute open time and skin-over time (at 73°F), allowing for precise tile adjustment.
-
Superior Flexibility: High elongation at break (80%) and low modulus design help accommodate structural movement and temperature fluctuations.
-
Strong Cohesion: Demonstrates cohesion failure (CF) across various substrates, ensuring the bond itself is stronger than the internal forces of the adhesive.
-
Weather Resistant: Designed for exterior use with a wide temperature resistance range from -40°F to 194°F.
Ideal Applications & Substrates
TILE ACE MAX is highly versatile and suitable for bonding a wide variety of materials, including:
-
Masonry: Mortar.
-
Ceramics: Porcelain and ceramic tiles.
-
Metals: Anodized aluminum and stainless steel.
-
Plastics: PVC, Polycarbonate, and ABS.
-
Construction Boards: Foam core backer boards and pine wood.
-

Popular Use Cases
TILE ACE MAX is a go to choice for challenging tile projects that require more than standard mortar. It is frequently used for exterior facades and patios because it handles extreme temperature cycles and structural expansion. Its ability to bond to non porous surfaces makes it ideal for commercial kitchens where tiles must be applied to stainless steel or anodized aluminum. It also simplifies renovations by allowing tiles to be bonded directly to difficult substrates like PVC, ABS, and glass without heavy demolition.
In the countertop industry, this adhesive is particularly valuable for the installation of large format porcelain slabs. Its high flexibility prevents these thin slabs from cracking when the subtop or cabinets shift slightly. Fabricators also use it to secure reinforcement boards to the bottom of stone or porcelain surfaces to increase durability during transport. Because it bonds effectively to stainless steel, it is a reliable choice for supporting undermount sink brackets and mounting hardware in high moisture areas.
