ARALDITE GY 40100 is primarily used as a specialty epoxy component designed to create electrically conductive materials. Its most common use cases come from its ability to add conductivity while maintaining strong mechanical performance and low loading levels
One of the main applications is in conductive coatings. It is used in solvent free coating systems where electrical conductivity is required, such as anti static or electrostatic dissipative surfaces. These coatings are often applied in industrial environments where control of static electricity is important.
Another key use case is in flooring systems. The material is incorporated into flooring screeds and resin based floors to create conductive or static dissipative flooring. This is commonly used in electronics manufacturing facilities, clean rooms, and environments handling sensitive equipment.
It is also widely used in troweling compounds and repair materials. In these applications, it helps produce conductive repair layers or surfaces while maintaining durability and mechanical strength.
The product is used in advanced composite and formulation systems where low loading conductivity is needed. Because it can achieve conductivity at very low concentrations, it allows manufacturers to maintain lightweight formulations and preserve mechanical properties.
Additionally, it enables the production of conductive materials with aesthetic flexibility. Unlike traditional conductive fillers, it allows for brighter colors while still delivering conductivity, making it useful in applications where both appearance and performance matter.
Overall, the product is used wherever there is a need to combine electrical conductivity with strong mechanical properties, ease of processing, and formulation flexibility in epoxy based systems
