3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8005 Off-White is a two-part acrylic adhesive specially formulated to bond many low surface energy plastics, including many grades of polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) without special surface preparation.

3M Scotch-Weld Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8005 is a two-part acrylic adhesive specifically formulated to create strong, structural bonds on low surface energy (LSE) plastics, including various grades of polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs/TPOs), without the need for special surface preparation like priming or etching. This solvent-free adhesive offers a convenient, one-step bonding solution for notoriously difficult-to-bond plastics, as well as multi-material assemblies involving metals, ceramics, and wood.

- 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Plastic Adhesive DP8010/DP8010NS (a non-sag version with similar properties).- Permabond TA4631 (another adhesive for HDPE).- 3M VHB (Very High Bond) Tapes (for LSE applications, though a different form factor).- JB Weld Plastic (a cheaper alternative, may require good surface prep).- Cyanoacrylate adhesives (Super Glue) can bond LSE plastics but may lack strength and often require surface treatment.- Epoxies (generally not considered the best for LSE plastics without surface treatment).
