PERMABOND TA4550 is a 2-part, 2:1 low odor, thixotropic (thick non-sagging gel) acrylic adhesive. It was developed for the structural bonding of nylon/polyamide (filled and unfilled) without the need for any primers or additional surface treatment, such as plasma. TA4550 is also good for bonding plastics, metals, composites, in addition to nylons.
TA4550 is the replacement for discontinued TA4660. Also, TA4550 is the official Permabond-approved direct replacement for the discontinued formula TA4660, which was also a nylon bonder.
