ARALDITE 2014-3 Structural Epoxy Adhesive
NEW IMPROVED REPLACEMENT FOR ARALDITE 2014 US
ARALDITE 2014-3 (ARALDITE AW 139-2 / Hardener HW 5323-1) is a two-component, room-temperature curing, sag-resistant epoxy paste adhesive specifically developed to replace the legacy ARALDITE 2014 US system. This advanced formula maintains the high strength and excellent chemical resistance of the original while providing an improved chemical safety profile and enhanced performance characteristics.
The adhesive is a dark grey, thixotropic paste (mix ratio 2:1 by weight/volume) designed for structural bonding of metals, electronic components, composite materials, and other substrates exposed to higher temperatures or aggressive environments.

General Features and Performance
The new ARALDITE 2014-3 formula provides significant benefits, ensuring superior performance and improved processing:
- Appearance (Mixed): Dark grey paste.
- Mix Ratio (Weight/Volume): 100:50 (Resin to Hardener).
- Gap Filling: Non-sagging, gap-filling up to 5mm thickness.
- Cure Speed: Reaches handling strength (1 MPa) in 4 hours at 23 C. Reaches working strength (10 MPa) in 6 hours at 23 C.
- Cured Properties (Typical): High tensile modulus (3700 MPa) and tensile strength (45 MPa). Highly resistant to water, fuels (Gasoline), lubricants, and a wide variety of chemicals (e.g., Xylene, IMS).
