1. Invisible Island Overhang Support

The 32-inch Hidden Island Support bar included in the kit is
primarily used to support large granite, marble, or quartz overhangs on kitchen islands. Because carbon fiber is 4-8 times stronger than steel but significantly thinner (only 0.2" to 0.4" thick), it provides the necessary structural support for a heavy stone breakfast bar without the need for bulky, knee-knocking corbels or visible brackets.

1. Knee Wall and Pony Wall Reinforcement

The 12-inch Flat Knee Wall Support is used to reinforce countertops that sit on top of a "half wall" (pony wall). This is a
common setup for raised breakfast bars. The CarbonBar is mounted flat against the top of the wall before the stone is installed, creating a rigid bridge that prevents the stone from cracking or tipping if someone leans heavily on the edge

1. Countertop Rodding for Fragile Areas

While the sample box highlights brackets, the CarbonBar
material is most famous for "rodding." Fabricators use these bars to reinforce the narrow strips of stone in front of and behind sink and cooktop cutouts. Unlike steel rods, CarbonBar will never rust. This eliminates "rod jacking," a common failure where rusting steel expands and cracks the countertop from the inside out.

1. Supporting Thin or Exotic Stones

Modern design trends often use 2cm (3/4") stone or
fragile, high-end exotics like Quartzite. These materials are much more prone to snapping during transport or installation. The CarbonBar provides high-tensile reinforcement that allows fabricators to use these thinner, more brittle stones in longer spans that would otherwise require a sub-top of plywood.

1. Commercial Workstations and Floating Shelves

In commercial spaces like cafes or ADA-compliant bathrooms,
CarbonBar is used to support floating vanities and workstations. Its high strength-to-weight ratio allows for "floating" designs that meet weight-bearing requirements while maintaining a clean, minimalistic aesthetic that steel cannot achieve at the same thickness.
