Two-part coatings, sealants and paints (also referred to as 2K paints) are coatings where a chemical reaction results in hardening. Hardeners for two-component coatings are usually polyisocyanates, epoxy, or urea-based systems that combine with a base coating/paint to form very durable coatings. Two-component coatings typically have a very high level of corrosion resistance.
