CEL Components

CEL Components is an Italian manufacturer of honeycomb composite sandwich panels with more than 30 years behind the line. Perigee Direct carries the stocked sizes: ALUSTEP 500 SL, COMPOCEL AL aluminum honeycomb, CLEARSTEP translucent panels for backlit work, and fire retardant ALUSTEP 500 FR.

The Step series pairs a honeycomb core with fiberglass skins and is built as a lightweight backer for marble, porcelain and natural stone. Panels weigh a fraction of solid stock, which cuts breakage and rework, makes handling a one-person job on sizes that used to need two, and adds stiffness without adding thickness.

Beyond stone backing, these panels go into marine interiors, elevator cabs, facades and exterior cladding, furniture, RV and rail builds, ceiling systems and high-end commercial interiors. Panels are available with aluminum or fiberglass skins, and we stock the epoxy and mounting hardware that go with them, so the panel, the bond and the attachment all come from one place.
