SikaBiresin CR94 is a vacuum bagging epoxy and wet layup laminating system built for professional composite fabrication. The 100 percent solids resin wets reinforcement fabrics thoroughly, so fabric layers settle with fewer trapped voids under vacuum. Mixed viscosity runs approximately 800 to 1,400 cps, and the system pairs with three CH94 hardener speeds, so shop teams can match cure schedule to part size and working conditions.

Vacuum Bagging Epoxy Features

  • 100 percent solids, two-component epoxy laminating system
  • Low mixed viscosity for thorough fabric wet-out
  • Three hardener speeds: CH94-1 fast, CH94-3 medium, CH94-6 slow
  • Mix ratio by weight: 100 resin to 27 hardener
  • Room-temperature cure with post-cure option
  • Suitable for above-waterline and below-waterline use

Popular Uses

  • Marine hull and deck construction and repair
  • Aerospace tooling and composite parts
  • Transportation component fabrication
  • Wet layup and vacuum-bagged laminate work
  • Industrial composite parts production

Vacuum Bagging Epoxy Physical Properties

  • Mix ratio: 100 parts resin to 27 parts hardener by weight
  • Mixed viscosity: approximately 800 to 1,400 cps
  • Pot life: about 20 to 30 minutes (CH94-1 fast) up to 100 to 130 minutes (CH94-6 slow)
  • Solids content: 100 percent

Mix Ratio & Cure

Condition both components to the working environment before mixing. Weigh CR94 resin and the selected CH94 hardener to the 100:27 ratio by weight, mix thoroughly, and scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing vessel. Transfer to a clean container before applying to reinforcement. Cure at room temperature, or post-cure when the process specification calls for it.

Precautions

FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. Refer to the SDS prior to use.
