SikaBiresin CR94 is a vacuum bagging epoxy and wet layup laminating system built for professional composite fabrication. The 100 percent solids resin wets reinforcement fabrics thoroughly, so fabric layers settle with fewer trapped voids under vacuum. Mixed viscosity runs approximately 800 to 1,400 cps, and the system pairs with three CH94 hardener speeds, so shop teams can match cure schedule to part size and working conditions.
Vacuum Bagging Epoxy Features
- 100 percent solids, two-component epoxy laminating system
- Low mixed viscosity for thorough fabric wet-out
- Three hardener speeds: CH94-1 fast, CH94-3 medium, CH94-6 slow
- Mix ratio by weight: 100 resin to 27 hardener
- Room-temperature cure with post-cure option
- Suitable for above-waterline and below-waterline use
Popular Uses
- Marine hull and deck construction and repair
- Aerospace tooling and composite parts
- Transportation component fabrication
- Wet layup and vacuum-bagged laminate work
- Industrial composite parts production
Vacuum Bagging Epoxy Physical Properties
- Mix ratio: 100 parts resin to 27 parts hardener by weight
- Mixed viscosity: approximately 800 to 1,400 cps
- Pot life: about 20 to 30 minutes (CH94-1 fast) up to 100 to 130 minutes (CH94-6 slow)
- Solids content: 100 percent
Mix Ratio & Cure
Condition both components to the working environment before mixing. Weigh CR94 resin and the selected CH94 hardener to the 100:27 ratio by weight, mix thoroughly, and scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing vessel. Transfer to a clean container before applying to reinforcement. Cure at room temperature, or post-cure when the process specification calls for it.
Precautions
FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. Refer to the SDS prior to use.

Product Name
SikaBiresin CR94 Epoxy Laminating System
Brief Description
SikaBiresin CR94 is a 100 percent solids, two-component epoxy laminating system for standard wet layup and vacuum-bagging composite work. The low-viscosity resin wets reinforcement fabrics thoroughly, and three CH94 hardener speeds let fabricators match cure schedule to part size and shop conditions.
Popular Applications & Uses
- Wet layup fiberglass and carbon fiber laminates
- Vacuum-bagged composite parts
- Marine hull and deck construction and repair
- Aerospace tooling and composite components
- Transportation composite component fabrication
- Industrial composite parts production
Industries that Commonly Use It
- Marine: boat builders and repair yards use CR94 for hull, deck, and structural laminating work above and below the waterline.
- Aerospace/Defense: the low-viscosity resin and multiple hardener speeds suit composite tooling and part fabrication.
- Transportation/ Specialty Vehicle: used to laminate composite body and structural components.
- General Manufacturing: a standard epoxy laminating resin for shops producing composite parts.
Special and Unique Features
- Three hardener speeds: CH94-1 fast, CH94-3 medium, and CH94-6 slow let one resin cover a range of part sizes and working times.
- Low mixed viscosity: approximately 800 to 1,400 cps for thorough fabric wet-out and fewer trapped voids.
- Cure flexibility: cures at room temperature or can be post-cured per the process specification.
Key Properties
- Mix ratio: 100 parts resin to 27 parts hardener by weight.
- Mixed viscosity: approximately 800 to 1,400 cps.
- Pot life: roughly 20 to 30 minutes with CH94-1 fast hardener, up to about 100 to 130 minutes with CH94-6 slow hardener.
- Solids content: 100 percent.
Surface Compatibility
SikaBiresin CR94 bonds to common reinforcement fabrics used in composite fabrication:
- Fiberglass reinforcement
- Carbon fiber reinforcement
- Glass reinforced plastic (GRP)
- Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP)
- Composite laminate substrates

Comparison Note
SikaBiresin CR94 sits alongside SikaBiresin CR86 and CR72 in Perigee's composite laminating line. CR94 favors standard wet layup and vacuum bagging, CR86 is built for resin infusion and RTM, and CR72 adds a UV-resistant formulation for parts that see sun exposure.
