UltraLok® 607 is a clear, two-part structural acrylic adhesive engineered for durable plastic-to-plastic and plastic-to-metal assemblies. Its 10:1 mix ratio, practical working time, broad service-temperature range, and excellent resistance to UV exposure, humidity, and water make it especially useful for channel letters, signs, displays, and fabricated plastic components.

Performance values are typical and depend on substrate condition, joint design, mixing, application, temperature, and cure conditions. Test the actual materials and assembly before production use.

Choose Your Shelf Life

  • Fresh Batch: Fresh-batch inventory. Refer to the package lot and expiration information for the actual remaining shelf life.
  • Short Shelf Life (1-3 Mths Left): Product with approximately one to three months remaining before its labeled expiration date. Plan to use it promptly.
  • Recently Expired: Product past its labeled expiration date. Published performance should not be assumed for expired material; test mix quality, cure, and bond performance before use.

Directions for Use

  1. Clean and dry both bonding surfaces, removing oil, dust, moisture, and other contamination.
  2. Dispense the two components at the specified 10:1 ratio through a compatible static mixer. Mixed material should appear uniform.
  3. Apply enough adhesive to fill the joint when the parts are assembled and clamped.
  4. Mate and position the parts within the 6-9 minute working time.
  5. Keep the assembly undisturbed while handling strength develops. Allow 24 hours at 77°F (25°C) for full cure.
  6. Remove excess uncured adhesive and clean equipment with a suitable, locally compliant solvent before the material cures.

Temperatures below 55°F (13°C) slow the cure, while temperatures above 85°F (29°C) accelerate it. Where appropriate for the parts and process, the TDS permits an accelerated cure of 15 minutes at 120-140°F (49-60°C).

Storage and Handling

Store tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area at 40-78°F (4-25°C), away from heat, sparks, flames, direct sunlight, and UV exposure. Elevated storage temperatures reduce shelf life. Wear suitable eye protection and chemical-resistant gloves, provide adequate ventilation, and review the SDS for both components before use. The resin component is classified for transport as UN1133, Adhesives containing a flammable liquid, Class 3, Packing Group III.
