UltraLok® 300 Structural MMA Adhesive for Plastics, Composites & Metals

UltraLok® 300 is a two-part methacrylate (MMA) structural adhesive used in industrial, professional, and DIY applications to bond plastics, composites, and metals with high strength and little or no surface preparation. It mixes at a 1:1 ratio, has a 3 to 6 minute working time, reaches handling strength in 10 to 15 minutes, and provides lap shear strength of 3,000+ psi with 20 to 30% elongation for tough, slightly flexible bonds.

UltraLok 300 is the 5 minute, rubber-toughened workhorse of the UltraLok acrylic family. Faster and slower working times are available (UL305, UL310, UL330, UL350) when your job needs a different open window.

SmartPak pouches use less than 1% of the plastic of a rigid cartridge. Paired with a battery-operated dispense gun, a full pouch dispenses in about 2 minutes.

Surface Preparation and Use

Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of loose contaminants. UltraLok 300 bonds most substrates with little or no preparation. Dispense through a static mixing nozzle, apply to one surface, join the parts, and hold or fixture until set. Note that UltraLok 300 is not UV stable and will yellow over time. Yellowing does not affect bond performance.
