Surface Compatibility
- Cures fast and reliably on active metals such as steel, cadmium, zinc, and other plated fasteners- Performs satisfactorily on most metals including anodized aluminum, stainless steel, brass, oily, and “as received” finishes- Copper and its alloys will accelerate cure speed- Oxidized or passivated surfaces (e.g., stainless steel, zinc, aluminum) may reduce cure speed; activators like Permabond A905 or ASC10 can be used to accelerate cure- Best results are obtained on clean, dry, and grease-free surfaces- Not recommended for use in contact with oxygen, oxygen-rich systems, and strong oxidizing materials- Users must check compatibility with thermoplastics before use
