Maven Epoxy EA 630 is a 2-part (steel filled for extra strength) chemical and solvent resistant epoxy adhesive with a Medium set time of 30 minutes. When mixed in equal volumes of resin and hardener, it reacts to give a rigid and tough bond. This product is dark grey and machinable to give a metallic finish. EA 630 is recommended to bond aluminum, concrete and other metals. It has a set time (working life) of30 minutes, and handling strength can be achieved in about 60 minutes with a full cure in 24 hours.
Please Note: These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml or 400ml cartridge Dispenser, respectively. We advise you use a 50ml or 400ml Dispenser for all respective cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.
If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, we have some 50ml kits that include hand tools or caulking dispenser adapters, as pictured, that you can use for fast small jobs. But the 400ml cartridges really need to use a 400ml Dispenser, they're just too big to effectively use without the dispenser.

- Other steel-filled epoxy putties and adhesives (e.g., Alcolin Steel Epoxy Putty, Devcon metal-filled epoxies, Jenolite Steel Epoxy Putty).- Other medium-set epoxies from Maven Adhesives with similar cure times and viscosities, such as Maven Epoxy EA 530 (clear).- General-purpose industrial epoxy adhesives with comparable strength and chemical resistance.
Comparison Note
Maven Epoxy EA 630 stands out due to its specific steel-filled composition, which provides superior strength, toughness, and the ability to be machined to a metallic finish, making it ideal for structural metal repairs and rebuilding. Its metallic gray color is designed to blend seamlessly with metal substrates. This product is distinct from decorative metallic epoxy *floor* coatings, which primarily focus on aesthetic effects for large surfaces rather than structural repair and machinability.
