Replace rivets and welds with the structural power of LORD 410/19GB. This toughened acrylic adhesive is engineered for heavy-duty metal bonding, capable of gripping unprepared aluminum, steel, and galvanized surfaces with minimal prep. Featuring a 20-30 minute open time for stress-free assembly of large parts, it cures to a non-sag, impact-resistant bond that stays strong even in freezing temperatures down to -40°F, making it the trusted choice for transport trailers, signs, and outdoor industrial equipment
Lord 410 modified acrylic adhesive and Lord Accelerator 19GB is a two part system that provides excellent adhesion to metal and engineered plastic surfaces. It is most typically used for the replacing of welding, riveting, brazing, and many other mechanical fastening methods.
Lord 410 acrylic adhesive was designed to work extremely well in cold environments and with applications that require a very high impact or high peel loads.
- Medium Setting 20 to 30 minute set time (aka working life)
- with a Medium time to handling strength of 60 to 120 minutes
- The 'GB' feature is code for Glass Microbead infused, which enables a controlled minimum bondline width.
The overall shelf life of the product when kept at a stable room temperature and in its original unopened container is six months. If stored at a lower temperature, please allow the paste to to return to room temperature before use. Do not store this product near a heat source, open flames, or where sparks are visible. Lord 410 is an extremely versatile product that also features a Non-Sag formula that allows it to remain in position and is extremely flammable.
Lord 410 is an acrylic, non-sag, versatile, temperature resistant adhesive that provides bonding for a wide variety of prepared and unprepared metals and plastics. This product was specifically designed to work great at low temperatures with high peel loads or high impact situations.

Product Name
LORD 410/19GB Medium Set 20-30 minute Low Temperature Resistant, Non-Sag acrylic adhesives
Brief Description
LORD 410/19GB is a two-component, medium-set acrylic adhesive system designed to replace traditional mechanical fastening methods like welding, brazing, and riveting. It is specifically formulated to provide high impact and peel strengths, performing exceptionally well in low-temperature environments and applications subject to high impact or peel loads. The 19GB accelerator component contains 0.25 mm diameter glass spheres, allowing for precise control of the adhesive bondline thickness.
Popular Applications & Uses
- Replacing welding, brazing, riveting, and other mechanical fastening methods- Bonding a wide variety of prepared or unprepared metals (aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, powder-coated steel)- Bonding engineered plastics (including XENOY®, polycarbonate, ABS, and acrylics)- Channel letter bonding and sign box bonding in the sign industry- Structural reinforcing members inside sign boxes- Applications requiring high impact and peel resistance- Use in low-temperature environments- Architectural cladding- Supporting countertops, islands, ADA vanities, and shelving
Industries that Commonly Use It
- General Manufacturing- Metal Fabrication- Plastic Fabrication- Sign & Display- Construction/ Building Services- Transportation/ Specialty Vehicle
Special and Unique Features
- **Non-Sag Formulation:** Remains in position when applied on vertical or overhead surfaces, offering greater process flexibility.- **Low-Temperature Resistance:** Performs particularly well in low-temperature environments, down to -40°C (-40°F).- **High Impact and Peel Strength:** Specifically formulated to provide the highest impact and peel strengths available in a room temperature curing adhesive.- **Bondline Thickness Control:** Accelerator 19GB contains 0.25 mm glass spheres for precise bondline thickness control.- **UL Approved:** The LORD 400 series, including 410, is UL 746C certified when mixed with LORD Accelerator 19.
Key Properties
- **Adhesive Type:** Two-component acrylic adhesive- **Set Time:** Medium set, with a 20-30 minute open time.- **Temperature Resistance:** Performs from -40°C to +149°C (-40°F to +300°F), with some variants up to +204°C (+400°F) for powder-coat bakes.- **Environmental Resistance:** Resists dilute acids, alkalis, solvents, greases, oils, moisture, salt spray, and weathering; provides excellent resistance to indirect UV exposure.- **Color (Accelerator 19GB):** Off-white or grey.- **Mix Ratio:** 4:1 (adhesive to accelerator).
Surface Compatibility
- **Metals:** Aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, powder-coated steel, and other unprepared metals with minimal surface preparation.- **Engineered Plastics:** XENOY®, polycarbonate, ABS, and acrylics.- **Composites:** Bonds composites.
Known backups / known substitutes
- **LORD 403/19 and LORD 406/19:** Other adhesives within the LORD 400 series, offering different working times and properties.- **LORD 410/19:** LORD 410 adhesive used with Accelerator 19 (without glass beads), suitable when bondline thickness is controlled by other means or is greater than 0.25 mm.- **Other Structural Acrylic Adhesives:** Products from manufacturers like 3M, Huntsman (Araldite®, Euremelt®, Fastweld), and Bostik offer similar structural bonding capabilities.
Comparison Note
LORD 410/19GB stands out within the LORD 400 series for its precise bondline thickness control due to integrated glass beads in the 19GB accelerator. It offers a medium set time (20-30 minutes) and is particularly optimized for applications requiring high impact and peel strength, especially in low-temperature environments, making it a robust alternative to traditional mechanical fasteners.
