Loctite SI 598 is a black RTV silicone gasket maker for oil-resistant sealing in automotive and industrial maintenance. It forms a flexible rubber gasket and can be used for gasket replacement or dressing.

Application and Limitations
Clean and degrease surfaces, then assemble within minutes of dispensing. Not for cylinder-head gaskets, gasoline contact, oxygen-rich systems or strong oxidizers. Store sealed and dry, ideally at 8–21°C. Read the package-specific safety sheet; the aerosol format requires separate shipping review.
