LOCTITE® SI 595, also known as LOCTITE® Superflex® Clear RTV Silicone, is a one-component, room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV) acetoxy silicone sealant. It cures on exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible silicone rubber seal that resists aging, weathering, and thermal cycling without hardening, shrinking, or cracking.

Common Uses
- General-purpose sealing of ductwork, vents, flues, doors, and windows
- Electrical insulation and protection of leads from mechanical shock
- Trim bonding and mechanical assembly sealing
- Gasketing and sealing on metal, glass, ceramic, and most plastics (not recommended for concrete)
How to Use
- Clean and dry surfaces; remove all oil and grease.
- Apply product to the surface. For bonding applications, apply to one surface only and join surfaces immediately.
- Wipe away excess material immediately.
- Allow approximately 45 minutes to reach tack-free/surface cure; allow 24 hours for full cure.

Important Limitations
Not recommended for use on concrete, in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich systems, or as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizing materials. When heated above 300°F (150°C) in the presence of air, silicones can form formaldehyde vapor; use with adequate ventilation. Per the current SDS, this product is not classified as a DOT/GHS transport hazard and is not regulated for ground, air, or water shipment. No California Proposition 65 listed chemicals are known to be present.
