Loctite Ready Gasket is a black, one-part gasket maker for formed-in-place seals on mechanical assemblies. Its sensor-safe, blowout-resistant formulation offers rapid sealing for automotive and marine repairs. Sold individually as one 5 oz cartridge, Henkel part 494150 (legacy 37512).

Application & Limitations
Clean and dry mating surfaces. Apply a continuous bead, typically 3 mm, around the sealing area and bolt holes. Assemble within 5 minutes and tighten to the assembly manufacturer's torque specification. Rapid sealing does not mean full cure. Not recommended for gasoline contact, oxygen-rich systems or strong oxidizers.
Storage & Safety
Store unopened and dry, ideally at 8–21°C. Use adequate ventilation and appropriate protective equipment; consult the current package-specific SDS before handling. Warning: Cancer and Reproductive Harm — P65Warnings.ca.gov.
