Seal and bond marine assemblies with Loctite PL Marine Fast Cure, a white, moisture-curing polyether adhesive sealant. It forms a strong, flexible, watertight bond for above- or below-waterline service once fully cured and withstands both saltwater and freshwater environments.

Popular Applications
Recommended for through-hull fastening, deck fittings, deck-to-hull joints, portlights, moldings, struts, planking and stem joints. Compatible substrates include teak and other woods, fiberglass, vinyl, glass, FRP, metal, gelcoat, polycarbonate and most plastics. Test plastic substrates for adhesion and compatibility before use.

Application & Cure Guidance
Apply to clean surfaces free of dirt, oil, wax, loose paint, oxidation, frost and other contamination. Cut the nozzle at 45° to the desired bead size; a caulking gun is required for the cartridge. Tool or assemble before the product skins. Allow 30-60 minutes before handling or machining and at least 24 hours before painting or placing into service. Clean uncured residue promptly with alcohol; cured material requires scraping or abrasion.
Important Limitations
- Not suitable for engine compartments, teak deck seams, crack or seam repair, or unfastened glass, polycarbonate or acrylic windows.
- Horizontal applications require tooling. Remove coatings and sealers before application.
- Allow treated wood to cure for six months before application, following APA guidance.
- Extended exposure to gasoline, oils, pool chemicals, acids or other harsh chemicals may permanently soften the sealant.
Follow the package precautions and current Safety Data Sheet. Apply with ventilation, protective gloves and safety glasses.
