Loctite Epoxy Quick Set is a fast-setting, two-part epoxy for durable household, workshop, and general repair projects. The convenient dual syringe dispenses resin and hardener in equal amounts for a consistent 1:1 mix. Once mixed, the epoxy forms a tough, rigid, non-shrinking bond and can also be used for gap filling, surface repair, and laminating.
This 5-minute epoxy bonds metal, glass, ceramic, china, wood, tile, fiberglass, concrete, stone, and many rigid plastics. After curing, it is water resistant, resistant to most common solvents, and can be sanded, drilled, or machined for a finished repair.

How to Use
- Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry, and free of oil, wax, paint, rust, and other contaminants. Roughen smooth surfaces for improved adhesion.
- Dispense equal amounts of resin and hardener onto a disposable surface.
- Mix thoroughly for about 1 minute.
- Apply a small amount to both surfaces within 1 to 2 minutes of mixing, then join the parts.
- Support the assembly for approximately 10 minutes at room temperature. Usable strength is reached in about 1 hour; allow 24 hours for full cure.
- Wipe the syringe tips clean, retract the piston slightly, and replace the plug in the same orientation.
Important Limitations
- Not recommended for polyethylene, polypropylene, non-stick coatings, nylon, or flexible materials.
- Not recommended for prolonged water immersion or continuously wet applications.
- Not for use on potable-water systems.
- Not suitable for short-term heat exposure above 302°F (150°C).
- Application and cure times vary with temperature, humidity, and the thickness of the applied epoxy.
