Loctite 561 PST Pipe Thread Sealant Stick – 19 g

LOCTITE® 561 is a white, semi-solid thread sealant stick for fine tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. Its one-part, non-drip format is easy to carry and apply where a liquid sealant would be difficult to use. The anaerobic formula provides an immediate low-pressure seal and controlled low strength for later disassembly.

How to use

Clean the mating threads and let them dry. Advance only enough product for the job, remove any skin on the stick, and fill the threads where the male and female fittings engage. Recap the stick, then assemble and wrench-tighten according to the fitting maker's instructions. Standard hand tools can usually be used for disassembly.
