Dupont Molykote High Vacuum Grease (formerly known as Dow Corning Hi-Vac Grease) is a Silicone oil based High Vacuum Clear Grease that is water, chemical and temperature resistant.
This silicone grease is popular as a general use lubricate and is low cost in relation to many of the alternatives. HIVAC is commonly used for lubricating and preserving rubber parts as well as to grease artificial and silicone rubber used in a high-temperature application.
This stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating material is usable for 60 months from the date of production.
Features:
- Lubricates synthetic and silicone rubber gaskets, that require high-temperature rough-vacuum uses
- Inert/nonreactive to vegetable oils, mineral oils, and common gases, and resists most aqueous solutions of inorganic salts
