Collection: Zap Adhesives

Zap Adhesives

Zap has been the default adhesive on hobby benches for decades, and the reason is range. Perigee Direct carries the line: Zap CA in thin, Zap A Gap CA+ in medium, Slo-Zap in thick, plus Plasti-Zap for plastics, Poly-Zap for polyolefins, and Z-Poxy two-part epoxies including the finishing resin.

Viscosity is the whole selection. Thin CA wicks into a joint that is already held together and sets almost instantly. Medium gives you a second or two and fills a small gap. Thick buys working time and bridges a loose fit. Most people who have trouble with CA are using the wrong one for the fit they have.

The support products matter as much as the glue. Accelerator kicks a joint in seconds when you cannot clamp. Debonder gets you out of a mistake. Z-Poxy Finishing Resin goes on as a surface sealer over wood and composite rather than as a structural bond.

The line also covers threadlockers, canopy glue, contact cleaner and after-run oil, which is what makes it useful well beyond model work: R/C, woodworking, repairs and small fabrication all pull from the same shelf.
