ELANTAS

ELANTAS makes insulating and protective materials for electronics. Perigee Direct carries the Conap and Conathane lines: conformal coatings, potting compounds and encapsulants, adhesives and adhesive primers, plus the solvents, mold releases and color concentrates that go with them.

The conformal coatings cover all four traditional resin chemistries, acrylic, urethane, epoxy and silicone, so you can match the coating to the rework policy rather than the other way around. Acrylics come off with solvent when a board needs service. Epoxies and silicones do not, but they hold up better in harsh environments.

On the encapsulant side, Conathane polyurethanes run from flexible, low-density grades that let you dig a component back out to rigid systems that lock everything down. Dielectric properties, hydrolytic stability and adhesion to low energy substrates are where these materials separate from general-purpose resins. Conap AD and PR primers extend that adhesion onto surfaces urethane will not otherwise grab.

Most of this line ships in quarts, gallons and pails, and kits are matched by ratio. For help selecting a grade or a matching primer, call (817) 381-9398 or email sales@perigeedirect.com.
