About J-B Marine Weld
- Made in USA
- Speicfically formulated two-part epoxy Cold-Weld system that provides for strong, lasting repairs for bonding different or similar surfaces, such as metal, composites, fiberglass and others.
- ProductNo. 8272 is a 2-ounce kit consisting of a one ounce tube of resin and a one ounce tube of hardener. This formulation sets in 4-6 hours at room temperature and is fully cured to a dark grey color in 15-24 hours. Once cured it can be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled and will retain its strength above or below the waters' surface. It has a 1:1 mixing ratio and a tensile strength of 3960 PSI.
- Product No. 50172 is a .85 FL OZ (25ml) syringe that can be used with or without a B-system mixing tip. With the mixing tip, the adhesive is mixed in the tip via specialized mixing chambers and is fully mixed as it exits the tip. Without the mixing tip, the bubble pack is formed with a convenient mixing tray and the kit comes with a mixing stick that is used to thoroughly mix both parts of the epoxy prior to use. This formulation also provides strong, lasting repairs for bonding different or similar surfaces, such as metal, composites, fiberglass and others. At full cure, its color is white. It may then be shaped, tapped, filed, sanded and drilled, retaining full strength above or below the waters' surface. It has a 1:1 mix ratio and a tensile strength of 3200 PSI.
