Araldite 2031-1 - 60-Min Set Chemical Resistant -Black Thixotropic Toughened Epoxy Gel
Araldite® 2031-1 is a 1:1 mix ratio, black, toughened, thixotropic (non-slumping up to 10mm thickness) adhesive suitable for metal and composite bonding with good adhesion on Polyamides. It has low shrinkage characteristics and a high chemical resistance.
Embedded with spacers (glass beads) it retains it's integrity well, will not sag/gap or run, and has enhanced bond strength at larger bondlines. It is particularly suitable for GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastics) Polyamide and SMC (Sheet Molded Compounds) bonding.
The 50ml Cartridges are 1:1 ratio, and are designed to work best with a 50ml cartridge Dispenser with a 1:1 ratio plunger. We strongly advise you use a 50ml Dispenser with a 1:1 ratio plunger for this cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our 1:1 ratio Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval. If you prefer not to use a Dispenser, then we recommend considering one of our 50ml Kits that include a variety of different accessories that you may need for fast small jobs.
The 380ml Cartridges are 1:1 ratio, and are designed to work best with a 380ml cartridge Dispenser with a 1:1 ratio plunger. We strongly advise you use a 380ml Dispenser WITH a 1:1 ratio plunger for this cartridges. If you do not have one, please check out our 1:1 ratio Dispensers, all are excellent products and have our 'it's good' seal of approval.

Araldite 2031 may be stored for up to 3 years at room temperature provided the components are stored in sealed containers. The expiry date is indicated on the label.
