Product details

  • Type Pipe Repair Wraps
  • Vendor CS-NRI
  • SKU CSNRI_EPN-101-1PT

The CS-NRI EPN-101 is a solvent free, chemically resistant, two-part bulk epoxy paste filler used to fill and transition surface irregularities including pits, voids, corrosion defects, dents, leak repair “stopgaps”, etc. Its high-build capability allows technicians to transition aggressive changes in geometry without multiple lifts. Once cured, EPN-101 is machinable.

Benefits

  • High-build capability without slumping or sagging
  • Can be over-coated as soon as it is dry to the touch
  • Resistant to a wide variety of inorganic acids, alkalis, salts and organic media
  • Machinable once cured

Applications

  • Any metal surface defect containing pits, voids, corrosion, etc.
  • Used in conjunction with patches, plugs and other leak repair techniques
  • Used to transition aggressive changes in geometry or large defects prior to installing ECR Systems

Storage
Store indoors in cool, dry, ventilated storage at temperatures below 35°C (95°F ) in original, unopened containers. Minimum storage temperature 15.5°C (60°F)

Limitations

  • Epoxy application temperature: minimum of 5°C (40°F) or less than 3°C (37°F) above dew point
  • Base component should be warmed to 15.5°C to 25°C (60 to 77°F) before mixing
  • Over-coating time should not exceed 3 hours
  • Suitable for long-term immersion at temperatures up to 70°C (158°F) and intermittent contactwith pressurized steam up to 120°C (248°F)
  • Resistant to dry heat in excess of 200°C (392°F) dependent on load
